Our experience
Frederik Middernacht is an entrepreneurial and hands-on finance leader. He is results, data & technology driven and has broad experience at multinational, SMB, and start-up level. He is passionate about efficiency & quality. He founded Noktomezo in 2011 to provide advisory services and develop a number of start-up initiatives. As CFO, Frederik successfully collaborated with senior executives, entrepreneurs & investors in businesses in growth, restructuring, and transaction phases (SipWell, Belmoca, AluSense, and 4C). As consultant, he worked on two large M&A projects (SAB Miller Central Europe and Peroni & Grolsch). As entrepreneur, he (co-)founded five companies: Avantaga, InVhestia, Energio Verda, Axoru and Kipando in the finance analytics, financial modeling, renewable energy, and sustainable mobility sectors in the US, Europe, and East-Africa. Previously Frederik gained broad financial, management & consulting experience working at BNP Paribas Fortis, ABN-Amro, AB InBev, KPMG and PwC. He earned an Executive Master in Business Administration and a Master in Financial Management, both from the Vlerick Business School (Belgium), a Master in Applied Economic Sciences from the University of Antwerp (Belgium) and a Master in Accountancy from the University of Leuven (Belgium).
Frederik brings the CFO perspective to the table and is personally involved in all Noktomezo assignments. In the domain of finance analytics and AI he is supported by the team at Avantaga and in the domain of financial modeling he is supported by the team at InVhestia.
